Message from CAFE Board of Directors re: the Coronavirus pandemic

Our Board members want to take this opportunity to reach out to you during this most trying time as we all deal with the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.  It is truly a frightening moment, and, like everyone, we are receiving some occasionally confusing guidance on what to do in proceeding with our daily lives.

Please be aware that this is a critically important issue, and we urge you to do all you can to keep yourselves and your loved ones safe from harm.  You should follow the advice from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on best practices for minimizing exposure to the virus, and on steps to take if you or your loved ones are experiencing signs or symptoms of possible infection.  Refer to the CDC website for detailed instructions:  www.cdc.gov

Also, if you have school age children and are concerned about services or support (such as meals, transportation, communications with schools, etc.), please be aware that our Board of Directors and staff stand ready and willing to offer guidance and advice on dealing with these and other issues.  Our Board consists of seasoned professionals, with ties to school officials, as well as federal, state and local government.  Three members are medical doctors, with extensive experience in addressing health problems that could arise and they are certainly willing to answer your questions, to the best of their ability.
