Meet CAFE students:

Life Skills

CAFE seeks to prepare students to examine their world critically and respond to its challenges with creativity. Students are encouraged to assume leadership; to value the opportunity for service; and, to accept, understand and appreciate the diversity of their community and the world.  Throughout the school year, CAFE students typically participate in special life-skills related programs and workshops.

Great Debates: Students are pitted against each other to debate current issues such as school policies, immigration, drug commercialization, and majority age.  Debates are conducted for an audience with special guest judges including local politicians, physicians, and other professionals.

Mock Trial: Students are coached by a local attorney to prepare arguments for the MSBA High School Mock Trial Case & Competition.  More information on this year’s competition can be found at the CLREP website.
