Enroll in The Pan Class

The Pan Class is for adults who wish to learn to play the steelpan on a beginner and intermediate level.  Classes are dedicated to improving technique, music reading skills and overall fluidity on the instrument. Also covered are some basic music theory concepts, improvisation and the historical and cultural background of the steel band artform and relevant musical genres.  No musical experience or instrument are required for participation in the classes, however purchasing a personal instrument is encouraged. CAFE is always happy to help students locate and purchase a suitable instrument.  The Pan Class meets in a formally structured environment, preparing students to perform and excel in steel band environment, making it ideal for serious hobbyists.
